Privacy Policy.

How VB Engineering India Private Limited collects, uses, retains, and protects information about visitors, prospects, clients, and users of vbengg.com and its sub-domains.

Effective date: 1 July 2026. Version: 3.0. Supersedes all prior privacy notices. This Policy is issued by VB Engineering India Private Limited on behalf of itself, VB Group®, all VB Group subsidiaries and affiliates worldwide, and any legal successors.

By accessing this website, you unconditionally accept this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use in their entirety. If you do not accept, you must exit the site immediately and refrain from further access.

01Who we are.

This website is owned and operated by VB Engineering India Private Limited ("VB Engineering", "VB", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in India, with its registered office in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. VB Engineering is a member of VB Group®, which also comprises Wistwin (Industry 4.0 digital twin SaaS) and other affiliates. This Policy applies to vbengg.com, all sub-domains including careers.vbengg.com, and any digital property owned or operated by VB Engineering or a VB Group affiliate.

02Data we collect.

When you interact with this website, we collect the following categories of information:

Information you provide voluntarily

  • Full name, business email address, phone number, company name, job title, country of operation, project scope, plant description, service enquiry text, and any other information you submit through contact forms, scoping forms, chat widgets, WhatsApp channels, career applications, resume/CV uploads, or email correspondence.
  • Any documents, drawings, single-line diagrams, technical specifications, photographs, or other materials you transmit to us in connection with a scoping enquiry, project proposal, or engagement.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address, browser type and version, device type and identifier, operating system, referring URL, exit URL, session duration, page-view sequence, click patterns, scroll depth, form-abandonment events, and any other technical information transmitted by your browser.
  • Cookie identifiers (first-party and third-party), local storage tokens, session tokens, and analytics identifiers assigned by Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Bitrix24, and other embedded services.
  • Coarse geolocation derived from IP address (country, city, region).

Information from third parties

  • Data enrichment records from Apollo, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other commercial B2B intelligence providers, matched to the business email you supply. This may include your professional history, employer, seniority, and inferred purchase intent signals.
  • Publicly available information about your employer, including regulatory filings, press releases, and industry-analyst reports.

03How we use your data.

We use the information we collect for any purpose reasonably connected to our legitimate business interests, including but not limited to:

  • Responding to your enquiry. Routing your scoping request to the appropriate practice lead, following up with a proposal, and issuing engagement documentation.
  • Sales, marketing, and business development. Nurture emails, targeted advertising, retargeting, account-based marketing, event invitations, industry newsletters, and executive briefings. You may opt out of specific marketing communications at any time via the unsubscribe link, but functional and transactional communications will continue.
  • Analytics and product improvement. Understanding site usage, testing content variants, improving conversion, and shaping future services.
  • Sharing with VB Group affiliates. Including Wistwin for cross-sell of digital twin subscriptions and other VB Group platforms.
  • Publishing case studies and marketing collateral. If you become a client, your engagement may be described (anonymised or with your consent) in our marketing materials.
  • Regulatory, legal, and compliance purposes. Including responding to lawful requests from government authorities, defending our legal interests, and enforcing our Terms of Use.
  • Corporate transactions. Sharing with prospective or actual acquirers, investors, lenders, insurers, and their advisors, in connection with any actual or potential merger, acquisition, investment, financing, or restructuring.

04Legal basis for processing.

We process your data on one or more of the following legal bases, at our sole election:

  • Legitimate interests in operating our business, marketing our services, and improving our website.
  • Consent, where required by applicable law. Your continued use of the site constitutes consent to the terms of this Policy.
  • Contractual necessity, where processing is required to perform a client engagement.
  • Legal obligation, where required by tax, regulatory, or other applicable law.

05Data storage, retention, and cross-border transfer.

Your data is stored on infrastructure owned or leased by VB Engineering, our VB Group affiliates, and reputable cloud service providers including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, and Bitrix24. Storage locations may include, without limitation, India, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Singapore, and the European Union. By submitting data to us, you consent to the cross-border transfer of your data to any jurisdiction where we or our service providers operate, and to storage under the data-protection standards of that jurisdiction, notwithstanding any lesser protections that jurisdiction may afford compared to your country of residence.

We retain personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including satisfying legal, accounting, regulatory, marketing, and record-keeping requirements. Marketing databases may be retained indefinitely. We are under no obligation to delete data that has been anonymised, aggregated, or de-identified.

06Your rights.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights in respect of your personal data, including the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, or objection to processing. To exercise any such right, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within the statutory time frame applicable to your jurisdiction, or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer. We reserve the right to verify your identity before acting on any request, to refuse manifestly unfounded or excessive requests, and to charge a reasonable administrative fee for repeated or voluminous requests.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time by writing to [email protected]. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Withdrawal may result in our inability to continue providing services, respond to enquiries, or maintain a business relationship with you.

07Cookies and similar technologies.

We use first-party and third-party cookies, local storage, session storage, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, analyse traffic, and serve targeted advertising. Cookies we deploy include:

  • Strictly necessary cookies that enable core site functionality (form submission, session persistence).
  • Analytics cookies from Google Tag Manager (GTM-NDRGZJV) and Google Analytics 4 (G-QN2LJH6YR5).
  • CRM and lead-tracking cookies from Bitrix24, Interakt WhatsApp SDK, and other engagement platforms.
  • Advertising cookies that may be deployed by us or our partners in the future for retargeting and lookalike-audience marketing.

By continuing to use this website you consent to all cookies described above. You may disable cookies through your browser settings; however, doing so will impair site functionality and your ability to interact with us. We do not honour "Do Not Track" browser signals.

08Third-party services.

This site integrates with third-party services including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Bitrix24 CRM, Interakt/Kiwi WhatsApp, LinkedIn advertising pixels, and content delivery networks. These services collect data pursuant to their own privacy policies, over which we have no control and for which we accept no responsibility. Your use of this site is deemed to be acceptance of the privacy practices of these third parties.

09Data security.

We employ commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), access controls, and periodic security reviews. However, no transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We do not and cannot guarantee the absolute security of any data. You transmit data to us at your own risk. In the event of a data breach affecting your data, we will notify you and applicable regulators only to the extent required by law.

10Minors.

This website is not directed at children under the age of eighteen (18). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we have collected data from a person under 18, we will delete it. If you are under 18, do not use this site or submit any information to us.

11Marketing use of client data and testimonials.

If you become a VB Engineering client, VB may reference the engagement (including your company name, industry, plant description, deliverable summary, and outcome metrics) in marketing collateral, case studies, whitepapers, conference papers, sales presentations, LinkedIn posts, and other public materials, whether anonymised or (subject to your written consent) attributed. You grant VB a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to describe and reference the engagement for marketing purposes.

12Changes to this Policy.

We may update this Policy at any time, without prior notice, at our sole discretion. The updated Policy will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the site after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy. You are responsible for reviewing this Policy periodically.

13Governing law and jurisdiction.

This Policy is governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, India, and you irrevocably submit to that jurisdiction. See our Terms of Use for the full dispute-resolution clause including mandatory arbitration.
