Building the first accurate single-line the plant has ever had.
Some sites have no usable electrical drawings at all · acquired assets, lost archives, forty years of undocumented extensions. We reconstruct the single-line from nothing but the plant itself: switchgear survey, transformer and breaker nameplate capture, protection device inventory and cable tracing, assembled into a drawing that matches what is actually installed.
There is a difference between an out-of-date single-line and no single-line. An out-of-date drawing can be verified and corrected. A site with no drawing · or a drawing so far from reality that it misleads · has to be rebuilt from the physical asset upward, and that is a survey problem before it is a drafting problem. This is the normal condition on acquired plants, on units extended in stages by different contractors, and on sites where the electrical archive was lost to a move or a fire. Until the single-line exists, nothing else can proceed: you cannot commission a study, size a replacement, plan an isolation or answer an inspector. Reconstruction is the entry point, and it has to be done on an energised plant without a shutdown.
CEng MIE India-signed deliverables · LiDAR-powered where applicable · digital twin handover ready · routes to the As-Built Engineering practice lead within 24 hours.
Systematic survey of every substation, switchroom and MCC. Transformer, breaker, switchgear and MCC nameplate data captured · rating, impedance, vector group, tap range, breaking capacity, manufacturer and year. Photographed against the asset tag, geotagged where LiDAR is in scope.
Incomer, bus section, tie and outgoing feeder relationships established by tracing physical connections, bus arrangement and interlocks. Where the bus configuration cannot be observed directly, it is confirmed against protection settings and operating procedure rather than assumed.
Every relay, CT, VT, fuse and MCCB recorded with model, ratio, and where accessible, the installed setting. This is what turns a topology sketch into a document a coordination study can be built on.
Drawing assembled to IEEE 315 and IEC 60617 symbology, showing voltage levels, ratings, protection and cable data. Validated back to the plant in a walkdown with your electrical maintenance lead before issue.
Issued as a CEng MIE India-signed single-line with an asset register behind it. The same data is delivered structured, so it can be built directly into an ETAP or DigSILENT model without a second survey.
Reports reference the international and national standards your regulators, F500 audit teams, and corporate process safety leads cite. Every deliverable signed by a Chartered Engineer (CEng MIE India).
Three landmark engagements from our verified roster · quantified outcomes, no client names disclosed without written permission.
Site changed hands with no electrical documentation transferred. 4 substations, 11 transformers and 96 outgoing feeders reconstructed over five weeks on an energised plant. First single-line in the site’s history issued and signed.
Plant extended in six phases by five contractors, each leaving partial drawings. Reconstruction found two 11 kV feeders energised from a bus nobody had recorded, and a tie breaker documented as normally open that was closed.
Electrical archive lost in a relocation. Reconstruction across quay and yard distribution, delivered with an asset register that seeded the operator’s new maintenance system.
